A Little Bit About Me
Assalamualaikum,

I consider myself to be practising. Although my parents instilled a great love and respect for the deen in me, it has been more recently that I have developed a real hunger to acquire Islamic knowledge and push myself in terms of my relationship with the Quran and sunnah especially. If I am being honest, my journey is still in its infancy. There is a long way for me to go. And for me, in seeking a spouse, I hope I can find someone who will help me, encourage me and also learn with me.

My idea of a good time is a quiz night or boardgames with lots of family, baking (with varying degrees of success) with my nieces and nephews or wandering around an old market. Books and teapots make me happy. Punctuation also makes me happy. I am big on family and spend most of my free time with mine. I love to laugh so am always up for a good joke.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a brother who is practicing, serious about marriage and has a kind disposition.

It is very important to me that they pray, fast and perform basic religious obligations consistently.

I respect all races/cultures so I don’t really have a specification. I'm not hugely cultural myself but rather I feel I identify with my faith. If you're someone who enjoys the positive aspects of culture but are happy to change and adapt with the situation and to of course ensure Islamic principles are upheld, we may be on the same wavelength.
